As an Associate in the Corporate practice group, Jeremy represents startups and emerging growth companies in venture capital financings and M&A transactions. He also advises companies on general corporate matters as they grow and helps them to mitigate business risks.
Jeremy draws from his experience in both the craft beer industry, as well as at a Fortune 500 technology company, to guide clients through the difficult conversations and obstacles businesses face throughout their lifecycle. What he enjoys most however, is finding constructive, creative solutions to these challenges. His natural interest in startups, technology and business led him to corporate law, where he now serves as a trusted advisor and outside general counsel to clients.
Prior to Morse, Jeremy worked for several law firms in Boston that represented small businesses with entity formations, drafting corporate documents, and advising on startup related documents. While in law school, Jeremy served as the Production Editor on Suffolk Law’s Journal of High Technology Law where he wrote and published a Note on the intersection of cybersecurity and consumer electronic devices. Additionally, Jeremy served as the Public Interest Chair to the Boston Bar Association for Suffolk Law.
Outside the office
Outside the office, Jeremy enjoys cooking and exploring off the beaten path for small food joints in Boston. He loves staying active with cycling, golfing, and running, and enjoys reading non-fiction about businesses, entrepreneurs, and psychology.
