Dan is a corporate and deal attorney who focuses his practice on emerging company and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. As a seasoned corporate and transactional attorney, Dan works with clients to navigate and close complex deals across all phases of the business lifecycle.

Prior to joining Morse, Dan worked at leading international law firms advising on major corporate transactions and served as in-house counsel at a multinational software company. This combination of law firm and corporate experience enables him to anticipate client needs and deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions.

Dan serves as outside counsel to clients in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on Technology, Life Sciences, AgTech, and FoodTech. He advises venture capital funds, emerging companies, and strategic acquirers in connection with:

  • Venture capital financings from seed through late-stage rounds

  • Represented company creation firms and venture studios in connection with entity formation, licensing agreements, and financing matters for portfolio companies

  • Represented a strategy and technology consulting firm in multiple rollup acquisition
  • Represented a Texas-based publisher in its acquisition by a private equity firm
  • Represented a Massachusetts-based technology-enabled services company in a Series A financing and founder secondary transaction

In his leisure time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, and reading historical fiction.
