Morse is pleased to welcome Attorney Crystal Komm to the firm. Crystal joins our Patent Practice Group as Counsel.
Prior to joining Morse, Crystal spent 14 years at Goodwin, where she served as Counsel in the Life Sciences Group. She brings extensive experience advising emerging and established pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies on a broad range of intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent prosecution and patent portfolio development.
Crystal’s experience spans the product lifecycle—from early-stage research and clinical development through regulatory approval and commercialization—and includes building global patent portfolios, conducting freedom-to-operate and patent landscape analyses, preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and developing patent strategies to maximize product exclusivity, including through patent term extensions and Orange Book listings. She also provides patent due diligence and strategic IP counseling in connection with public offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, licensing transactions, and other strategic matters. Crystal writes,
