Jim is a Registered Patent Attorney and a member of Morse’s Intellectual Property practice.
He currently works with a variety of clients in a number of fields including, electrical, mechanical, software, and consumer goods. Jim has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of both U.S. and foreign patent applications, as well as in researching and analyzing legal and technical issues, and in drafting opinions. He is also proficient in assisting with various phases of IP licensing, litigation and counseling, including patent, copyright, trade dress, and trademark litigation.
Prior to joining Morse, Jim has practiced patent law as in-house counsel at a consumer electronics, entertainment, and licensing company. In addition, Jim has been associated with several boutique IP law firms.

Outside of the office, Jim enjoys spending time with family, watching movies (he is an avid Home Theater Enthusiast), gaming, and hanging out with friends.
