Waltham, MA – Morse is pleased to announce the following elevation effective January 1, 2026. Ryan Whelpley has been elevated to Senior Attorney.
Ryan is an active member of the Corporate Practice Group, advising businesses of all sizes on buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, equity, convertible note, and SAFE financings, as well as general corporate matters. He is also active in the emerging area of name, image, and likeness (NIL) in college athletics. Drawing on his experience as a former college basketball player, Ryan is uniquely positioned to assist college athletes with NIL deals while helping universities and businesses navigate compliance with evolving NIL laws and policies. Ryan has been with the firm since 2021, most recently as an Associate.
