Join us in September for the first of several sessions led by the Morse Women Attorneys Group. Each session will focus on an area of law essential to the business lifecycle, start to exit and everything in between.

On Thursday, September 22, Elizabeth Resteghini and Amanda Thibodeau will kick off the Morse Women Attorneys’ Series. They will discuss what it means to incorporate a business, choice of entity including types of entities and pros and cons of each, deciding on what jurisdiction to incorporate in, the difference between independent contractors and employees and why it is important to properly classify them, paying salary versus hourly and the rules regarding properly classifying exempt workers, and putting in place assignment of IP agreements.
