Morse Expands Patent Practice; Welcomes Jeannie Wu, Russell Widom

WALTHAM, MA – Morse is pleased to welcome Jeannie Wu and Russell Widom to the Firm and to our Patent Group. Jeannie joins as Counsel, and Russell as Senior Patent Agent.

Jeannie focuses on patent matters in technical areas such as gene and cell-based therapies, small inhibitory RNAs, DNA and protein vaccines, peptide display technologies, diagnosis and treatment of various disorders, immunodiagnostics and therapeutics, drug discovery, transgenic animals and plants, biopolymers, and prosthetics. Jeannie earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a B.S. in Biology from MIT, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.

Russell has held various research and teaching positions at Boston University and then started his own medical writing consulting business before becoming a Patent Agent. He frequently works on patent matters in technical areas such as biotechnology, biomaterials, biologics, pharmaceuticals, medical treatment and diagnostics, and medical devices. Russell earned his Ph.D. in Biology at The City University of New York and his A.B. in Biochemistry from Cornell University.
