Morse is pleased to announce that Cloaked, a company focused on innovative privacy solutions to help protect consumer data, has raised $375 million in a Series B round led by General Catalyst and Liberty City Ventures.
Cloaked provides a suite of security and privacy tools, including data removal services, identity theft insurance, dark web monitoring, and AI-powered call screening, all designed to help customers better protect their personal information. With this new investment, the company plans to extend its AI-powered screening capabilities to text messages, email, and browsing activity. Cloaked also intends to expand into the enterprise space, offering employees many of the same protections available in its consumer products, including identity and password management.
Morse attorneys Mike Jabbawy, Rick Cocci, Ryan Whelpley, and Monica Sax served as counsel to Cloaked in this transaction.
Additional details on the investment can be found in Cloaked’s press release.
Morse focuses exclusively on the core legal services that businesses need to succeed, helping businesses of all sizes — from startups to Fortune 1000 companies — in the service areas of corporate, intellectual property, licensing, employment, taxation, and litigation.
