Morse Announces 2024 Attorney Elevations

Waltham, MA – Morse is pleased to announce the following elevations effective January 1, 2024. Ryan Perry has been elevated to Member and Eric Lavin and Paige Zacharakis have been elevated to Senior Attorney.

Ryan is an active member of both the Privacy & Data Security and IP Licensing & Strategic Alliances groups, assisting companies with compliance under various privacy and data security regulatory regimes. Ryan’s practice also involves data protection M&A, which includes advising on representations and warranties, due diligence, and disclosures. Additionally, he guides clients through the security incident response process. And, as a further component of his practice, Ryan negotiates commercial contracts on behalf of clients, with particular emphasis on data and technology. He has been with the Firm since 2016, most recently as a Senior Attorney.

A member of the Corporate and Taxation Departments, Eric focuses on tax and business planning with an emphasis on partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and debt and equity financings. Eric fills the unique role of tax and corporate attorney and draws on his extensive experience working directly with LLCs and partnerships. He assists on transactional matters and advises clients in a range of industries. Eric has been with the Firm since 2022, most recently as an Associate.

Paige is an active member of the Litigation Team, she represents her clients in a wide range of civil matters, from pursuing litigation to considering alternative dispute resolutions. Paige has significant experience in commercial and employment litigation, as well as trade secret and collections matters. Paige also works closely with the Trademark team in adversarial trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She has been with the firm since 2020, most recently as an Associate.
