A member of the Firm’s Privacy & Data Security Practice Group as well as its IP Licensing & Strategic Alliances Practice Group, Ryan assists companies with compliance under various privacy and data security regulatory regimes, and works with clients in crafting privacy policies and terms and conditions.
Ryan is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US). His privacy and data security practice also involves the review, drafting and negotiation of privacy and security representations and warranties in the mergers and acquisitions and venture financing contexts, as well as guiding companies through the privacy due diligence process. Ryan is actively involved in negotiating software licensing agreements, including Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements from both the perspective of service providers, as well as customers. Ryan advises business clients spanning a variety of different industries at all stages of development.
Prior to joining Morse, Ryan practiced law at a well-known global law firm based in Boston. During law school, Ryan served as a student attorney at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau, where he counseled local non-profits and low income start-ups.
